Pradeep,

Is this part 1 of progress report (it appears so ...)? Indeed an interesting way to articulate the "progress" (!!?) by stating some critical feedback ...

How do you propose to take this post forward?

No, this is all.

How do you propose to take this post forward?

Can you help me understand that in more detail. Taking forward the progress report.

I hope you are referring to http://testertested.qualityfrog.com/Progress_Report_2008_Pradeep_Soundararajan.pdf

I was fooled by only the image as part of the blog and the text bellow that has "Alternatively ...."

Hence I thought viewing the image is an alternative to reading the pdf report ... (I later notice the pdf)

The word "Alternatively" confused me ...I thought pdf (or the resource pointed out by the link) gives me more or less the same information as the image posted on the post. I was wrong !!!

What mean by taking progress report further is to take action on aspects that you would like to "change" (in some way) in the future. A progress report, typically casts its shadow on the future ... how do you deal with the shadow of the past ...or should you care about shadow at all? Unless you just want to "put" down everything that happened with you last year (mostly on professional front) ... a progress report has a future ....

Action should speak.

First, there are no shadows in the past. I loved what Steve Jobs said in his famous speech and it is something like, "If you know how to connect those dots then you'd be fine".

I think you know my writing skill in the past and in between and today. I think you know my testing skill in the past and in between and today.

I can make my weakness a highly money making venture. For instance, Scatman made millions of dollars with his problem of scatting. He connected the dots pretty well.

It seems that I can't download the file from http://testertested.qualityfrog.com/Progress_Report_2008_Pradeep_Soundararajan.pdf. Is this a part of the test?

No, its no part of test. If you can e-mail me, I shall send you a copy. A lot of others were able to download so maybe it is your system or the environment in which you or your system is placed.

Hi Pradeep,

It's a nice way to keep a track of one's learning.

It as well acts as a source of inspiration for me to think 'What should I do next?'.

Meeting and interacting with you at TEST2008 and related meetings was a wonderful experience. Look forward to similar discussions in future!

Regards,
Rahul Verma
