I had made a similar point to my ex-manager, saying I need not pass the internal company's testing certification in order to get a promotion. If I deserve, I will get it anyways. I did not pass in 1st attempt, so had to give it on second chance and missed my promotions in that appraisal cycle.<br /><br />I feel US/Brits like Indian testers as we show keen interest in their technology & product domain.
